Fourth Day Koh Ker & Beng Mealea Tour

Start Time: 08:00am

We leave after breakfast at the hotel and depart to the temple of Beng Mealea, which is 77 km away from Siem Reap City. This temple was built in the 12th century by King Suryavarman II, and has a design similar to that of Angkor Wat, although over grown by vegetation and still pending restoration it’s definitely worth a visit. We will continue our tour with a visit to Koh Ker which is about 50km from Beng Mealea. Koh ker was the capital of the Khmer Empire for a short period of time in the 10th century. Here there are more than 100 temples scattered throughout the jungle, the most important temple site being that of Prasat Thom.
